How do you call a mix between Marilyn Monroe and a Spanish flare? well, I like to call it a "little Marilyn señorita" haha, at least that is what this outfit makes me feel like; a little señorita with a love for Marilyn portraits. 

A long time ago I bought this lovely skirt that I have showed you before, and this dress/ top is old too, so today I decided to mix this two pieces to create a lovely and kind of unique look. I wanted something bold because I was wearing a very bold makeup too, so I wanted my outfit to stand out as well. I have to tell you that this is one of my favorites outfits so far, specially because red is my favorite color and I think it goes perfect with black and white.

I kept the accessories to the minimal because the outfit and makeup was more than enough and I remembered the wise words of Coco Chanel, when she said: "Once you have dressed, and before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take at least one thing off" to keep it classy and elegant. 

Como llamarías a la mezcla entre Marilyn Monroe y un toque español? bueno, yo lo llamaría "Pequeña señorita Monroe" jaja, al menos eso es lo que me evoca este look, en especial por los vuelos tan hermosos de la blusa que me recuerdan a esos bellísimos trajes que usan las bailarinas de flamenco.

Hace algún tiempo compré esta falda que ya les había mostrado anteriormente, y este vestido/blusa también es viejito, así que hoy decidí mezclar estas dos piezas para crear un bonito look bastante coqueto. Quería algo llamativo porque quería combinarlo con el maquillaje que llevaba, y quería que la ropa complemente al maquillaje. Tengo que decirles que me ha encantado este look, en especial porque el rojo es mi color favorito y combinado con blanco y negro me parece que queda muy hermoso.

Mantuve los accesorios al mínimo porque el look y el maquillaje ya eran demasiado fuertes, y además porque me acordé de aquellas sabias palabras de Coco Chanel cuando dijo: "Una vez te hayas vestido, antes de irte de la casa, mírate al espejo y quítate una prenda" para mantener el look clásico y elegante.
