Magenta shorts

Lately I have been thinking about how much social media has changed our perception of the world. When I first started blogging(a looong time ago) I usually opened my heart and shared all my thoughts and ideas but little by little I have come to the realization that people this days are too busy to read more than just a few lines.
I think the future of bloggers is really scary, people don't really have the interest nor the time to read the content of a blog, it is so easy and simple for us to "scroll and like" through Instagram and the sad part is that your worth as an influencer is based on how many people is following you. This saddens me deeply to my core, because people don't realize the amount of effort physically and emotionally that creating content for a blog means, sometimes I feel like giving up(like I did on my youtube channel a while back) because the returns of this profession can be minimal.
I have wondered many times why people come to my blog(I know who you are by the way, the people that always come and leave a message) I know I am not the best influencer out there, competition is fierce this days, and I don't base my sense of fashion on expensive or experimental trends, I am just a simple girl trying to do my best with what I have, but then I think about the lovely people that take their time to leave a message and my heart starts to warm out because deep inside I know that I don't need to have millions of followers to know my worth, I only have to change the world for one person to know that all this hard work is totally worth it, so thank you so much for being here, for reading my thoughts and for your sweet comments that are the food of this blogger, I truly appreciate it.
Ultimamente he estado pensando en como las redes sociales han cambiado nuestras perspectivas del mundo.
Cuando empecé a escribir en el blog(hace muuuuucho tiempo atrás) usualmente abría mi corazón y compartía mis pensamientos y mis ideas, pero poco a poco he llegado a la conclusión de que la gente hoy en día, está muy ocupada para leer algunas líneas.
Creo que el futuro de los que nos dedicamos a bloguear es incierto y asusta un poco, la gente en la actualidad no tiene el interés ni el tiempo para leer el contenido de un blog, ya que es tan fácil y sencillo "ver fotos y dar likes" en Instagram, y la peor parte es que tu valía como influenciador en redes, se basa en cuanta gente te sigue. Esto confieso que me entristece mucho, porque la gente no piensa en todo el esfuerzo físico y emocional que significa crear contenido para el blog, y algunas veces me hace pensar seriamente en rendirme(como ya lo hice hace algún tiempo en YouTube) ya que la recompensa que esta profesión nos da suele ser mínima.
Me he preguntado muchas veces porqué la gente viene a mi blog(Sí, sé perfectamente quienes son los que siempre vienen y me dejan comentarios) Sé que no soy una experta en moda o en maquillaje, la competencia es muy fuerte hoy en día, y sé también que no baso mi sentido de la moda en tendencias caras y experimentales, solo soy una chica sencilla tratando de hacer lo mejor que puedo con lo que tengo, pero luego pienso en todas esas personas maravillosas que se toman su tiempo para visitar el blog, leerlo y dejarme unas líneas, y mi corazón se empieza a derretir porque dentro de mi sé que no necesito tener un millón de seguidores para saber cuanto valgo, solo necesito cambiar la vida de una sola persona para saber que todo el arduo trabajo que hago manteniendo este blog vale la pena, así que muchas gracias desde el fondo de mi corazón por visitar este lugar y por sus dulces comentarios que sin duda alguna son el alimento de esta bloguera.

Entiendo perfectamente lo que dices pero creo que debes hacer lo que el corazón y las ganas te dicten, sin mirar números ni estadísticas. Si estás orgullosa con tu trabajo, sigue adelante porque realmente vale mucho la pena.

I love the color magenta and would wear those shorts in a heartbeat. They used to say 'content is key'. I feel you on writing tons and few take their time to read. I've also shortened my posts cos it starts to seem like 'why bother'. Some blogs only have an Instagram page so it all comes down to visuals. Sad but true. You look lovely!!
