Comfortably pink!

This past weekend I went to this beautiful place in my city called "el malecón 2000" that is basically a pier with a lot of things to do with your family, there is a garden, so many cafes in front of the river, ethnic shops, a museum, and so much more.
Guayaquil is very hot, the weather sometimes is crazy, it can be so hot that you literally boil like in hell, and then out of nothing comes the rain and the sky gets super dark. So you have to be prepared for that all the time, anyway as you can see in the pictures I am still wearing the beautiful purses from Chakanu, as I mentioned in one of the latests entries here in the blog, Chakanu is a new brand of purses made with Ecuadorian raw materials, I like that there are little touches of ethnic colors and textures in the purses, plus the variety of designs is great, you can find clutches, cross body purses, duffel bags and totes like the one I am using today in this pictures.
I decided to wear something colorful and fresh, so I put on a maxi skirt in this bright kind of neon pink and I paired it with a yellowy pastel blouse. I think the purse combined really good with this colors.
My afternoon was amazing, I met new people, I enjoyed being with some friends, I walked through this beautiful pier and the weather cooperated so everything ended in happiness and smiles, tons of smiles.

Este fin de semana pasado fui al muelle de mi ciudad llamado "El malecón 2000". Un lugar hermoso que visitar con toda la familia, hay un pequeño jardín, muchas tiendas, cafeterías junto al rio, un museo y muchas cosas más.
Guayaquil, mi ciudad, es muy caliente, el clima algunas veces es un poco alocado, puede estar tan caliente en un momento que literalmente sientes que te estás cocinando como en el infierno y de repente de la nada aparece una nube negra que trae consigo lluvia torrencial. Así que hay que estar preparado para esos momentos.
Como se pueden dar cuenta en las fotos, sigo utilizando las hermosas carteras de Chakanu, como les mencioné en una de las entradas antiguas aqui en el blog, Chakanu es una marca nueva de carteras y bolsos hechos con materiales Ecuatorianos, me gustan esos pequeños toques étnicos que tiene en los colores y texturas, además la variedad de diseños es grande, puedes encontrar desde bolsos tipo sobre, pasando por carteras con cadenas para cruzar por el pecho, bolsos de viaje y carteras tipo tote como la que estoy usando en las fotos.
Decidí vestir algo colorido y fresco(por la locura del clima) así que me puse una falda maxi en este color rosa casi neón con una blusa amarillo pastel. Creo que la cartera combina precioso con colores brillantes.
Mi tarde fue maravillosa, me divertí mucho conociendo gente nueva, disfruté estar con amigas y caminé por el muelle en un momento en el que el clima cooperó como nunca, así que mi día terminó con mucha alegría y sonrisas.
