Sad but fab

I don't usually like to dress all in black. To me the color black is a little depressive and boring. I love colors so much that when I found myself wearing something dark I immediately feel sad. I can't help it!
I guess my emotions are deeply connected with what I see so I love being surrounded by nature and all it's beautiful colors.
I can't imagine a life in plain black and white, without the beautiful shades of blue and violet of the sunrise sky, all the beautiful shades of green in the trees or the stupendous and vibrant colors of the flowers.
But today since I wanted to be elegant and a little sexy, I decided to dress all in black.
I remembered that I have bought this lovely maxi skirt a long time ago, so I decided to wear it and paired it with a black crop top that I recently bought at Zara, but because I can't live without some color in my life, I wore this cool orange clutch just put some color back into the outfit.
I hope you like this outfit, I felt a little like Angelina Jolie showing my leg. hehe
Normalmente no me gusta vestir de negro, para mi el color negro es un poco depresivo y aburrido. Amo tanto los colores que cuanto me encuentro vistiendo algo oscuro, inmediatamente empiezo a sentirme triste.
Supongo que mis emociones están profundamente conectadas con lo que veo, es por eso que me encanta estar rodeada de la naturaleza y todos sus hermosos colores y matices.
No puedo imaginarme vivir una vida en blanco y negro, sin esos hermosos tonos azules y violetas de los atardeceres en el cielo, o el verde en el esplendor de los árboles, o todos esos colores maravillosos que solo las flores pueden tener.
Pero hoy, tenía ganas de vestirme un poco elegante y a la vez sexy. (y creo que en el fondo me sentía un poco depresiva) así que decidí vestirme de negro. Recordé que hace mucho tiempo había comprado esta hermosa falda larga, entonces decidí ponérmela y combinarla con una crop top, pero para no caer en depresión total, agarré esta bonita cartera sobre color naranja y enseguida mi mundo se empezó a iluminar.
Espero que les guste este outfit, me sentí un poquito como Angelina Jolie mostrando la pierna, jejeje
In some parts of South America, and even in other continents too, there is the believe that if you wear a scarlet or crimson bracelet you are going to be protected from the misfortunes of the "evil eye".
I don't really think a red bracelet can protect you from anything, I am skeptic about that and so many other things, but this was a gift from my mom and because I am so far away from her right now, I just feel that if I wear this bracelet at all times she is going to be close to me, it's like having her all the time by my side telling me "You are not alone, I am here with you".
I wanted to share this just in case you see me wearing this bracelet in a lot of future pictures ;)
En algunas partes de América del Sur e inclusive en otros continentes también existe la creencia de que si utilizas un brazalete color rojo carmesí o escarlata vas a estar protegida de las desgracias provocadas por el "mal de ojo".
Yo no creo que un brazalete tenga el poder de protegerte de nada, soy muy escéptica en muchas cosas, pero este brazalete fue un regalo de mi madre y como ahora estoy tan alejada de ella siento que llevarlo conmigo es como sentirla cerca. Es como tenerla a mi lado diciéndome "No estas sola cariño".
Quería compartir esto porque probablemente me van a ver muy seguido en varias fotos con esta pulsera, entonces no quería que se les haga extraño ;)
I wanted to do a smokey eye, but because I was wearing a lot of black I decided to do a purple smokey look for this outfit. I don't like to match my makeup to my clothes that much, so I felt this look was so pretty and mysterious, ideal for a sexy outfit like this.
Me apetecía hacerme un look ahumado en los ojos, pero como estaba vistiendo con mucho negro, decidí hacer un look ahumado en morado para esta outfit. No me gusta combinar el maquillaje con la ropa tanto, así que sentí que este look quedaría muy bonito y misterioso, ideal para un outfit tan sexy como este.
