I have always considered myself a crazy cat lady with the difference that unfortunately I have only one little cat in my house(Thanks darling, but you know that as soon as we get back home, I am getting a couple more, don't you? wink-wink)I have always being in love with cats but when I was little and lived with my parents we always had dogs, not cats. I think my mom doesn't like cats at all so that is why cats weren't allowed in the house, anyway when I got married everything changed because my husband and I rescued a small furry orange kitty that instantly became my world, I love her to death and since then my love for cats have grown even more stronger.

While in Bangkok my husband (that knows about my obsession with spending HOURS searching for cat videos on youtube) discovered this cat café on the internet and didn't hesitated to take me there, so you can imagine my happiness as soon as I got inside that place, I felt my heart exploding with love and tenderness for this little fluffy beings and I just wanted to cuddle with all of them, while confetti was thrown at us and slowly disappear from the world. haha

Cats make me happy and this cat café was one of the most amazing places I have ever visited in my entire life.

If you love cats like me, I highly recommend you to visit one of this cafes, I know in Japan are very popular and they are gaining fans all around the world, so if you ever come across a cat café, go inside, relax and let your inner child play with the kitties, you are not going to regret it.

Siempre me he considerado la mujer loca de los gatos, con la diferencia de que desafortunadamente solo tengo uno en mi casa(Gracias mi amor por ser el papá de nuestra gatita, pero si sabes que apenas regresemos a casa vamos a tener un par más de gatitos, no? jeje) Siempre he estado fascinada con los gatos, pero cuando era soltera y vivía con mis padres siempre tuvimos perritos porque a mi mamá no le gustan los gatos, pero todo cambió cuando me casé ya que Chris y yo pudimos rescatar a una hermosa y pequeñita gatita que instantáneamente se convirtió en mi mundo entero, la amo con locura y desde entonces mi amor por los gatos se ha incrementado mucho más.

Estando en Bangkok mi esposo(que sabe de mi obsesión de pasar HORAS buscando videos de gatos en youtube) descubrió este "Cat Café" en el internet y no dudó en llevarme a conocerlo, así que ya se podrán imaginar mi emoción y felicidad cuando llegué a ese lugar. Sentí mi corazón explotar de amor y ternura por esos pequeños peluditos y solo tenía ganas de abrazarlos y desaparecer del mundo.

Los gatos me hacen muy feliz y este café ha sido uno de los lugares más maravillosos a los que he podido visitar en mi vida.Si te gustan los gatos tanto como a mi, te recomiendo visitar un café como estos, sé que en Japón son muy populares y que están ganando popularidad al rededor del mundo, así que si alguna vez te cruzas por un lugar como estos, no dudes en entrar, relajarte y dejar que tu niño interior juegue con los gatitos, créeme que es una experiencia inolvidable.

Caturday Cafe is very easy to find, specially because there are always some stray cats over there that can lead you to the cafe. The ambiance is eclectic but very simple, colorful and clean.

You will always find a couple of cats peering out the windows and be ready to greet you, sniff you and run around your feet, so try not to squeal in excitement like I did haha

 There are other cats that will be chasing one another and be hiding between pillows and tables and even around your handbag surprising you every time.

As soon as you get inside, you are expected to take your shoes off and wash your hands. At the entrance you will find some shelves to put your shoes and a pin board with lots of pictures of people with the cats and even little souvenirs left behind by some of the customers.

The food is all right, specially if you are looking for a quick snack. We were very hungry that day so we ordered a pasta and a salad with some cheese fries that were oh, so yummy!! but I think this place is more into desserts and teas, and talking about teas I had the most delicious cold matcha tea latte, so if you like matcha like I do, please, please, please try this latte, you are going to love it.

La comida esta bien, es bastante estándar para un bocado rápido. Nosotros estábamos muertos de hambre ese día y ordenamos una pasta y una ensalada con papas fritas y quesito hmm, pero creo que esta cafeteria es más de dulces y té, y hablando de té, me tomé un delicioso late helado de matcha, así que si te gusta la matcha, te recomiendo que pruebes este late aquí, es riquísimo.
