There is a lot of people out there that don't really appreciate the beautiful things they have, for example in my own case, me being a latina girl I have to tell you that I don't like too much my fatty thighs(you probably may be thinking what fatty thighs, right??) hehe

We women usually tend to see thing that don't exist, and I am not talking about ghosts or aliens(although I will like to know hat you guys thing about that... but that's another post) the thing is that I have always hated my thighs, I think they are so big for my frame and I don't like to wear shorts, but one day, I decided to love myself the way I am, I got tired of feeling bad about my thighs, and I decided to stop being abusive with MYSELF. I don't deserve to bring my body down, because what I have, what I am, what god gave me, it's perfect the way it is, and that is what I have been doing lately. yay! ღ

I know sometimes is very hard for us(women) to see how beautiful we are, specially because we as a society have created false and wrong "ideas" about what is beauty? so I decided to help you remember with this post that we all are unique and gorgeous in our own skin, (because I know sometimes we forget that) so maybe we all can help each other remember how unique we are, and one day we'll finally realize that it's ok to feel insecure sometimes but deep inside you must remember that you are beautiful, special and all you body is a wonderful piece of art.
Today we are going to talk about the beautiful chocolaty dark skin and I am gonna show you some pictures of amazing dark-skinned people.







Hola amigas! ¿Cómo están ustedes hoy?
Este post va a ser grande, asi que tengan paciencia! jejejeHay un montón de gente ahí fuera que en realidad no aprecia las cosas bellas que tienen, por ejemplo, en mi caso, siendo yo una chica latina tengo que decirles que realmente no me gustan mucho mi muslos gorditos (Ustedes probablemente se deben estar preguntando: Que muslos gorditos, ¿no??) jeje Las mujeres por lo general tendemos a ver lo que no existe, y no estoy hablando de fantasmas o extraterrestres (aunque me gustaría saber lo que ustedes piensan acerca de eso ... pero bueno, eso es otro post) la cosa es que siempre he odiado mis muslos, creo que son muy grandes para mi cuerpo y no me gusta usar pantalones cortos, pero bueno todo cambio un día, el dia que decidí amarme a mí misma como soy.
Un dia me cansé de sentirme mal por mis muslos, y decidí dejar de ser abusiva conmigo misma. Yo no merezco despreciar mi cuerpo, porque lo que tengo, lo que soy, y lo que Dios me ha dado es perfecto como es, y eso es lo que he estado haciendo últimamente. yay! ღ

Sé que a veces es muy difícil para nosotras (las mujeres) ver lo hermosas que somos, especialmente porque hemos creado falsas ideas de lo que para nosotros como sociedad es la belleza, así que decidí ayudarles a recordar a ustedes, mis amigas, que todos somos únicos y magníficos en nuestra propia piel, (porque sé que a veces nos olvidamos de eso) así que tal vez un dia interioricemos tanto el hecho de que todos somos únicos , y finalmente nos demos cuenta de que es normal sentirse inseguro a veces, pero en nuestro interior debemos recordar que somos seres hermosos, especiales y todo nuestro cuerpo(con kilos de mas, con kilos de menos, altos, flacos, cortos, blancos, negros, etc) es una maravillosa pieza de arte.
Hoy vamos a hablar de la hermosa piel chocolate que es tan bella, y les voy a mostrar algunas imágenes increíbles de personas de piel oscura.



But first of all, why skin gets dark?
The color of the skin can range from black to almost colorless, and is all about the melanin.
The melanin is a class of compound found in animals and plants, and serves predominately as a pigment, but also genetics plays a very important role on the color of your skin, so the melanin your parents inherited to you and the evolution you ancestors went trough in response to climatic conditions determined the color your skin will have.

I recently saw an article about how some people are bleaching their skin, and I felt so sad because dark skin is BEAUTIFUL.
See, people that are very pale usually like to go to tanning salons to get glowing darker skin, why? because dark is beautiful!!!! so simple as that.
I am not saying that white, pale people is ugly, not at all, in fact I personally thing all colors of the spectrum are gorgeous, but we have a tendency to get tanned because the tan make us look good and sometimes fit and slim, is nice to have some color on the skin and is amazing when you see a very confident dark-skinned woman loving her own skin color.

Dark skin is special, is perfect, is unique, is beautiful!!!
...and black women are like a piece of art in a black canvas, they stand out even more and whenever they enter in a room, their gorgeous chocolaty skin glows and look gorgeous.

Love they way you are, love your skin, love your body and love yourself, because no matter the color of your skin, you are perfect they way you are.





Pero antes que todo, ¿Por qué la piel se vuelve oscura?
El color de la piel puede variar desde el negro hasta casi incoloro, y tiene que ver con la melanina.
La melanina es una clase de compuesto que se encuentra en animales y plantas, y sirve principalmente como pigmento. También la genética juega un papel muy importante en el color de la piel, por lo que la melanina que nuestros padres nos heredó y la evolución que han tenido que pasar nuestros ancestros en respuesta a las condiciones climáticas, determina el color que la piel va a tener.

Hace poco vi un artículo acerca de cómo algunas personas decoloran la piel con cloro , me dio muchisima pena y me sentí muy triste porque realmente la piel oscura es hermosa.
La piel oscura es bella y creanlo o no, es preciada, lo vemos a diario cuando observamos a gente que es muy pálida por lo general salir de los salones de bronceado para conseguir una piel más oscura brillante, ¿por qué? porque la piel acaramelada es hermosa!! tan simple como eso.
Ahora ojo, no estoy diciendo que el blanco, y la gente pálida es fea, en absoluto, de hecho yo personalmente pienso que todos los colores del espectro son magníficos, pero aun asi, tenemos la tendencia a tomar el sol porque el bronceado nos hacen lucir bien, en forma y delgadas, quizas sea vanidad, pero es bueno tener un poco de color en la piel y es asombroso cuando ves a una mujer de piel oscura muy segura de si misma amando su propio color.

La piel oscura es especial, es perfecta, es única, es hermosa!
... y las mujeres negras son como una obra de arte en un lienzo oscuro, se destacan aún más y cada vez que entran en una habitación, su piel chocolate resalta con la luz.

Ama tu forma de ser, ama el color de tu piel, ama a tu cuerpo y ámate a ti mismo, porque no importa el color que tengas, tu y yo somos perfectos tal como somos.
