Frogs and lemons

My husband and I have a pact, we made this pact when we got married(11 years ago). 
We decided that every week we were going to designate a day for the two of us, so we could go out, eat some delicious food, laugh and chat a lot. So as usual, this past Saturday hubby and I decided to go out on a date. I wanted to look pretty, I always want to look pretty for my husband(so I always make the effort to be pretty for him) I love when he looks at me as if I am an expensive gift or a rare collectable piece of art, so I decided to wear this pretty red silky skirt that has this awesome frog print in it and to make the outfit a little more daring I wore a sexy lace up blouse that I know in his mind he is going to be thinking about unlacing it slowly(I know my husband, haha)
But you know what completed this outfit for me? A super cute lemon shape purse that I have.

Mi esposo y yo tenemos un pacto, hicimos este pacto desde que nos casamos (hace 11 años atrás).
Decidimos que íbamos a destinar 1 día a la semana para nosotros, para poder salir, comer rico, reírnos, conversar y filosofar de la vida. Así que como es costumbre, el pasado sábado mi amor y yo tuvimos una cita y para lucir bonita, porque siempre quiero lucir bonita para mi esposo(cabe recalcarlo y siempre hago el esfuerzo de lucir decente para él) decidí ponerme esta bonita falda roja con estampado de ranitas que me pareció super coqueta cuando la vi. Para hacer el look un poco más atrevido, me puse esta blusa de amarrado en frente muy sexy que sé que lo va a hacer pensar en como desamarrarla lentamente(conozco muy bien a mi esposo, jeje) 
Pero saben que fue lo que completó el look para mi? fue mi bolsa en forma de limón que me ayudó a agregar un poquito de color y hacer el look un poco divertido.

    When you get married I think it is very important to maintain the flame of the love alive, it is not about going out on dates with your partner all the time(although that is very important too) it is more than that, is the simple details that make the journey a happy one, like being affectionate, doing the dishes or cooking his/her favorite dish, or making the breakfast so your partner can have 5 more minutes to sleep, etc. 
Marriage is not the end of the goal, is actually the beginning and keeping your marriage in good shape takes time, effort, patience and lots and lots of love.

    I am so grateful for my husband, he is the best man for me. He is all I need, all I want, and who makes me happy even when I feel I don't have anything else to be happy for. So, thank you my darling for everything you do for me, for the little things and also for the big, you are my rock and I am so happy you decided to make me your wife.  I love you like the first time I saw you.

Cuando uno se casa pienso que es muy importante mantener la flama del amor viva, no es solo el salir  con tu pareja y tener citas(aunque eso también es muy importante) pero va más allá de eso, son los simples y pequeños detalles los que hacen que el viaje sea más llevadero, como el ser cariñoso, el lavar los platos o cocinar el platillo favorito de el o ella, o incluso preparar el desayuno para que tu pareja pueda tener 5 minutos extra de sueño, etc.
El matrimonio no es el final de la meta. Es en realidad el comienzo y mantener un matrimonio en buenos términos conlleva tiempo, esfuerzo, paciencia y mucho, muchísimo amor.
Yo estoy tan agradecida de tener a mi esposo conmigo, él es el mejor hombre para mi. Es todo lo que necesito, todo lo que quiero y quien me hace feliz a pesar de que algunas veces sienta no tener más cosas por que sonreír.
No se si estas leyendo esto pero; gracias mi amor por todo lo que haces por mi, por los pequeños y grandes detalles que tienes conmigo, tu eres mi roca, y me hace tan feliz el saber que me escogiste a mi para estar a tu lado y ser tu esposa.  Te sigo amando como la primera vez que te vi.

    I LOVE that lace-up top and the combinations of bold & bright colors in this look!
    I think it's great that you and your husband make date night a priority and always remember to do small affectionate gestures for one another. My husband and I try to have a date night if not once a week, at least once every other week. And if we aren't going out, I like to make a homemade meal on on of his days off because I know he loves when I cook for him. Marriage is definitely a journey and something we need to work on constantly, and in this day in age I don't think many people can say that they still love their partner 11 years later the same way they loved them the day they met, so I find your relationship with your husband really inspiring!
