My last trip here in India ends in Udaipur, a wonderful city in the state of Rajasthan. 

This city is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the serene waters of the different lakes that run through the city.
We got the opportunity to visit a couple of times the City Palace that was part of the Mewar dynasty and was built over a period of 400 years. This wonderful Palace is on the east bank of lake Pichola and has a couple of amazing restaurants that are delicious and the staff treat you like an authentic Maharaja. 

An interesting fact about this palace is that in 1983 the James Bond film Octopussy was filmed here  and it was played by Roger Moore.

Mi último recorrido por India termina en Udaipur, una maravillosa ciudad en el estado de Rajasthan.

Esta ciudad es el lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar de las serenas aguas de los diferentes lagos que la atraviesan. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar un par de veces el Palacio de la Ciudad que fue parte de la dinastía Mewar y fue construído en un periodo de 400 años, se imaginan?

Este maravilloso palacio está situado en las orillas del lago Pichola y posee un par de restaurantes deliciosos donde el staff no duda en hacerte sentir como un auténtico Maharaja.

Un dato interesante de este palacio es que en 1983 la película de James Bond, Octopussy fue filmada aquí y fue protagonizada por Roger Moore. 

This is a wonderful place to visit, I highly recommend it, so if you ever decide to visit Udaipur you should check it out, and if you get hungry touring the palace, don't forget to take a look at the restaurant inside the palace called Palki Khana (My favorite!!!) specially if you are a little tired and overwhelmed of having Indian food everyday and crave something continental, try the stuffed tortellini, or their pizzas and also please have a cup of their silky coffee, everything is so good in there you are not going to get disappointed, and also if you have the time check out the Sunset terrace restaurant too (at the entrance of the palace) so that way you can see the lake Pichola and spend a romantic evening enjoying the sun coming down drinking a couple of glasses of wine while you relax.

Este es un hermoso lugar para visitar que lo recomiendo muchísimo en caso de que se desee visitar Udaipur, y si en tu camino visitando este palacio te llega a dar hambre, no olvides visitar el restaurante dentro del city palace llamado Palki Khana(Mi favorito!!!) especialmente si estás un poco cansado y abrumado de la comida India y buscas algo más continental, prueba los tortellini rellenos o las pizzas y hasta el delicioso y sedoso café que tienen, te aseguro que no te vas a arrepentir, y si tienes más tiempo libre y mucha más hambre jaja, puedes visitar el Sunset terrace también, un restaurante hermoso(a la entrada del city palace) donde puedes ver el lago Pichola y si te quedas por más tiempo puedes pasar una tarde super romántica viendo la caída del sol y disfrutar de unas deliciosas copitas de vino.
