Piano dress

Music is food for the soul. It has the capability to become like a refuge for your feelings, it can express whatever can't be said and it can also be healing.
I love music, and although I have never had the opportunity to learn to play an instrument, music has the capacity to transport and move me with every sound.
One of the things that I always do, no matter where I am, is singing. You can easily find me singing in the car, going grocery shopping, cooking, at the gym, window shopping, etc. I think music calms me down because I tend to be a little self conscious and timid. So every time I sing I instantly start to relax and be more in control of my thoughts.
I like singing but pitifully I am not a good singer I have to admit, but music is such a very important part of me that even though I am not a Mariah Carey, I don't shy away from singing my heart out when I have to.
When I saw this beautiful piano dress I knew I had to have it, not only because it is such a pretty cute dress, but also because I have always wanted to learn to play the piano, but a long time ago(when I was a little girl) a teacher told me that my fingers were too short and that it would be better to learn to play a different instrument. Maybe he was right, but I think I should have kept going with my dream of becoming a good pianist, anyway....

La música es el alimento del alma. Tiene la capacidad de llegar a convertirse en un refugio para tus sentimientos, y puede ser capaz de expresar lo que no se puede decir fácilmente. La música es sanadora.
Amo la música, y aunque nunca tuve la oportunidad de aprender a tocar algún instrumento musical, la música tiene la capacidad de transportarme y moverme con cada sonido.
Una de las cosas que siempre algo, sin importar donde esté, es cantar. Es muy fácil encontrarme cantando en el auto, haciendo las compras de la comida, cocinando, en el gimnasio, etc. Pienso que la música me calma porque tiendo a ser un poco tímida e insegura, así que cada vez que canto instantáneamente me empiezo a relajar y a estar en mejor control de mis pensamientos.
Amo cantar pero eso no significa que sea buena cantante lastimosamente, aún así, la música es tan importante para mi que a pesar de no ser una Mariah Carey, no me cohibo a la hora de cantar con todas mis fuerzas.
Cuando vi este vestido de piano supe que tenía que ser mío, no solo porque es super coqueto, sino que también porque siempre he querido aprender a tocar el piano, pero hace mucho tiempo(cuando era chiquita) un profesor de música rompió en pedacitos mi sueño cuando me dijo que mis dedos eran muy cortos para aprender a tocar el piano y que era mejor que aprendiera otro instrumento. Quizás él estaba en lo correcto, pero aún así pienso que debí haber insistido y continuar con mi sueño de aprender y hacer música, pero bueno...
